Some of you may have visited our house last Sunday to help celebrate Sue's birthday. We had some guests visiting who were helping us clear out the ivy and weeds from our side yard.

Yes, we brought in a herd of goats to take care of the poison ivy, weeds, and scrub that had taken over a patch of yard. They were on location for ~5 hours and really cleaned up a lot of the area.

The goats will eat just about anything except pokeweed and pachysandra. Apparently they start getting full (or bored) after 4 to 5 hours, but they can put a big dent in runaway ivy during that time.
I can provide contact information if you are interested in your own herd of goats. You can also Google "Girl's Got Goats". She lives up in the Moncton area. It is very reasonably priced for the service (and experience).
