One of the most interesting QBs that isn't getting a lot of Madden 23 coins media attention has to be Carson Strong, and there's no need to overstate the fact that he was a bad QB. It will take an elite team that values the statuesque, pocket QB to pick Strong in the first place However, one of the biggest selling points for Strong is his decision to make in the pocket.
In the Senior Bowl, Strong was uncooperative in his passing, throwing an interception, and then fumbled the ball. It was a terrible experience for a player with potential for the first round. However, to say it's over is a blunder. It's more than that. Strong will need to put in a lot of effort into the course of his Pro Day and at the Scouting Combine to prove his team that what happened at his participation in the Senior Bowl was a blip in the radar, not the sign of something much more serious.
While quarterbacks certainly garnered all the attention however, this Senior Bowl really served to show just how absurd the talent pool on both offensive and defense lines is this draft. If your team is lacking either of these areas, then 2022 will be the time to stock up on players.
Boston College OG Zion Johnson, UConn DT Travis Jones and the mentioned Mafe and Penning from top to bottom the best players in the Senior Bowl were linemen. They're part of a group that already has a staggering number of top pass rushers and guards who could create a famous year for big men.
We're a little over a month away from 2022's Madden NFL 23 Draft, and no one knows what's in store. This is true in every draft, but it's more evident this year. A strong class, coupled with uncertainty as a quarterback has put us in an environment where any number of players could be considered to be in the top 10 and yet they all have a sense.
This is why, upon first looking at Mel Kiper's most recent mock draft, I was shocked, as it was so vastly differs from the conventional views of this classhowever, the more I think about it and consider it the more it appears as if at the very least certain picks could be drafted this way.
It is worth looking at the entire mockup to check out how it all plays out, but I'd like to discuss the few things that astonished me with the greatest surprise from Kiper's most recent projection.
Wilson is like the type of receivers teams are looking for currently. He's an incredible player after the catch, with an instinctive sense of how to get around defenders and pick more yards. It's hard to draw a precise comparison however, you can think of him more in his Cooper Kupp mold. Wilson will make a quarterback appear better. He'll also catch some passes in the downfield, but his true talent lies in placing the ball in his hands and allowing him to create plays.
London is the exact opposite. He's a massive-bodied receiver with a huge catch radius, and is more of an hybrid tight end. His skill set is similar to the one from Kyle Pitts or a Mike Evans and is very appealing to teams. They are the kind of players who can make a jump ball that isn't very good and transform into a huge game, simply because they are able to grab passes that smaller than defensive backs.
This makes a lot of logic for Jets which Kiper has taken to London at the moment. 4. It's ridiculously early however, he's a receiver that can assist Zach Wilson immensely, who's always been known throwing 50/50 ball buy mut coins madden 23 and then ask his receiver to play. There's absolutely no problem in Travon Walker. In fact, I had him running at No. 12 in my mock for the Vikings and I believe that he'd be a great selection. If the Panthers choose him with the sixth pick , it's an utterly disastrous error.
