Meet Declan the Syrian hamster. He's the new kid on the block. I got him when Covid started because I needed another fuzzy friend. He and Lars have a special relationship. They are curious about each other and enjoy the occasional nose-to-nose sniff. Lars also parks himself outside Declan's enclosure and they peacefully abide watching each other separated but united in their awesomeness.
And their coloring kind of matches.

Declan is a good looking little guy. Lars appears to be ready to roust himself from his nap at any moment so that he can interact with him. 😀
