Luna joined our family a little over 2 months ago. She's a 1 1/2 - 2 years old German Shepard and was rescued in Louisiana. She is so much fun to have around and is super smart. While she did get along with her friends at the rescue kennel, since she's come home she's developed a bit of leash aggression which has caused us to put off any play dates as of yet. We're hoping to find a trainer that is willing to do PPE'd in person sessions as all those we've reached out to so far are only doing zoom classes. Any suggestions would be appretiated. For now if you see a big guy avoiding you and your dog know that much like covid, we hope it's only a temporary issue.
I have been reviewing trainers....but I find they are quite expensive, and seem to have few qualification other than saying things like -they have always loved dogs..........many also want you to buy a full package of sessions for a grand or so, before you get started with them. Please keep us posted if you have any luck
